American-Armenian businessman Nubar Afeyan, co-founder of “Aurora” humanitarian initiative, expressed his concern regarding the arrest of Ruben Vardanyan, co-founder of “Aurora” humanitarian initiative by Azerbaijan.
“The reports about the arrest of my old colleague and friend cause serious concern,” Nubar Afeyan wrote on his X microblog.
He called to appreciate Ruben Vardanyan’s efforts, which he invested not only to create opportunities for his family, Armenia and Armenians to prosper, but also for all those who believe in the rule of law and the legitimacy of international agreements.
“Don’t turn away from this unfolding crisis. Genocide prevention is a global responsibility,” wrote Nubar Afeyan.
