According to Ujang, Surya Paloh’s attitude is a good example for political party elites and presidential and vice presidential candidates who lose to be relieved to accept defeat.

“That’s something positive, yes, something good. Nasdem has a big heart accepting defeat and accepting victory. This means that the election stage process is over. “The president has been confirmed and Nasdem has acknowledged Prabowo’s victory and admitted defeat,” said Ujang, Thursday (21/3/2024).
“This means that our democratic process is running normally and well even though there are many notes here and there, even though there are still shortcomings here and there in the democratic process,” he added.
According to Ujang, what Surya Paloh conveyed was a form of commitment to democracy and as part of maintaining national unity and unity after intense competition.
“We should be proud, we should be happy for Pak Surya Paloh and Nasdem who had a big heart in accepting the election and then congratulating Prabowo-Gibran as part of maintaining national unity and unity,” he said.
Furthermore, Ujang said that Surya Paloh had displayed his spirit of nationalism by not insisting that Anies Baswedan – Muhaimin Iskandar had to win, shown by his attitude of accepting defeat and being relieved to acknowledge the opponent’s victory.
