Oman exempts members of the national team delegation and Iraqi fans from entry visas

The Iraqi ambassador in Muscat, Qais Al-Amiri, announced that the Sultanate of Oman will exempt members of the national team delegation and Iraqi fans from entry visas, in order to attend the Iraq-Oman match scheduled for next November.

In a special statement to the (INA), Al-Amiri expressed his “thanks and appreciation to the competent authorities in the Sultanate for their cooperation and providing these important facilities that reflect the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries,” pointing out that “the Iraqi Embassy in Muscat is making great efforts to provide the best possible facilities.” For Iraqi citizens wishing to follow this important sporting event.”
He explained, “This step comes within the framework of supporting sports cooperation and enhancing communication between the two brotherly peoples,” stressing that “the embassy will continue its coordination with the Omani authorities to ensure the success of the Iraqi team’s participation and the attendance of its fans.”
