The Irada and Mental Health Complex in Riyadh received a delegation from the Ministry of Health in the Sultanate of Oman, with the aim of benefiting from the complex’s experience in providing treatment, rehabilitation and prevention services, applying performance indicators that contribute to measuring the level of work, promoting positive results, addressing deficiencies, and learning about the applied quality and clinical excellence programmes. The delegation was received by the Director General of Mental Health and Social Service at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hassan bin Rafi’ Al-Shehri, the Executive Director of the Irada Complex in Riyadh, Dr. Muhammad bin Mushabab Al-Ahmari, and the leaders of the complex.
The delegation was briefed on the complex’s facilities and learned about the efforts of each of them in providing care to patients and developing work. The tour included the improvement office, the family counseling and guidance center, and the ambulance and emergency department. It also visited the halfway house and aftercare.
The delegation of the Ministry of Health in the sisterly Sultanate of Oman praised the distinguished programs and services they saw for the care of psychiatric patients and addiction patients, as well as the continuous development efforts made by the complex to improve the level of the complex’s performance and raise the efficiency of the programs provided to the beneficiaries.
