At the hearing, held in the judicial district of Almoloya de Juárezthe control judge determined to link them to the process and a month was opened for the complementary investigation.

The defendants are under investigation for their probable level of intervention in crimes such as aggravated extortion, violent robbery, injuries, bribery, abuse of authority and damage to property.
Likewise, in the alleged evasion of Pedro Luis “N”, alias “Wicho”elected president of Santo Tomás de los Plátanos, for the period 2025-2027.

As part of the Swarm Operationwhich aims to dismantle the link between public servants of Edomex with the so-called criminal organization «Michoacan Family»it was planned to arrest Pedro Luis “N” during his protest.
On December 17, “Wicho” was sworn in as municipal president. At the end of the event, agents from the state prosecutor’s office arrested Pedro Luis “N”; However, people close to him helped him escape.
Due to these facts, the Edomex Prosecutor’s Officetogether with elements of the Defense, National Guard and the State Security Secretariat, carried out various operational actions on December 17 and 18.
Due to the above, 15 people accused of different crimes were arrested, as well as the evasion of the municipal president.
Among those detained are 3 members of the city council, 3 municipal police officers, as well as 9 more individuals, of which 5 are relatives of the mayors of the previous period and the current period.
