Chennai: One year after the inauguration of the DMK government led by Chief Minister MK Stalin, various events have been organized on behalf of the government and the party.

Elections to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly were held in April 2021. The DMK won with an absolute majority and came to power. Following this, MK Stalin was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at a ceremony held at the Governor’s House on May 7. Ministers including Thuraimurugan also took office.

Later, MK Stalin went to the General Secretariat and took charge as Chief Minister. He also implemented various public welfare schemes announced and not announced in the election manifesto during the last one year.

A separate budget for the Department of Agriculture was tabled in the Legislature. The general budget and the agricultural budget were presented as paperless electronic budgets.

In this context, it is one year since MK Stalin took office as Chief Minister. In turn, Chief Minister Stalin goes to his Gopalapuram residence this morning to meet his mother and mother and receive blessings.

Later, Anna at Marina Beach pays homage at the artist’s memorials. The legislature then attends the event. There the Chief Minister publishes 12 books on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

The Legislative Assembly premises have been decorated with flowers to mark the completion of one year of the DMK government and the commencement of the 2nd year. Leaders of the DMK alliance and various political parties are participating in the one year achievement function to be held at the Anna Arivalayam in Chennai this evening. The DMK has organized various events across Tamil Nadu to highlight the government’s one year achievements.
