The opposition protests lost their call amid widespread fear after the repression of the demonstrations that broke out against the proclamation of Maduro as winner of the elections, which They left 28 dead and about 200 injured, in addition to 2,400 detainees in Venezuela.

Three of those arrested died in prison and nearly 1,400 have been released on parole. Machado, however, had announced that he would call outside.
The electoral authorities proclaimed Maduro re-elected for a third consecutive six-year term (2025-2031)without publishing details of the scrutiny so far.
