The case filed by O. Panneerselvam and AIADMK general committee member Vairamuthu against the AIADMK general committee meeting held in Chennai on the 11th of last month was listed on the 4th to be heard by single judge Krishnan Ramasamy.
At that time, a petition was submitted to Chief Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari on behalf of OPS and Vairamuthu to transfer the case to another judge. As the Chief Justice rejected the request made by O. Panneerselvam to transfer the case to another judge, the case was heard by Justice Krishnan Ramasamy.
At that time, Justice Krishnan Ramasamy said that Panneerselvam’s action was like tarnishing the judiciary. Subsequently, OPS expressed regret for appealing to the Chief Justice. However, Justice Krishnan Ramasamy had ordered the Registry to submit the case details before the Chief Justice in order to appoint a new judge.

Accepting his recommendation, the Chief Justice appointed Justice Jayachandran to hear cases related to the AIADMK General Committee. In this case, this case is going to be heard today.
