Order not to arrest Shibli Faraz Ajmal Saber

(Web Desk) Peshawar High Court granted security bail to PTI leaders and ordered them not to be arrested in the listed cases.

A two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Waqar Ahmed of Peshawar High Court heard the security bail applications of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Senator Shibli Faraz and former member of the National Assembly Ajmal Saber.

The lawyer petitioner Alam Khan Adizai advocate argued in the court that Shibli Faraz is a senator and Ajmal Saber is an MNA according to form 45, the court inquired what is this form 45? On which the lawyer said that according to Form 45 he has won the election but he has been defeated.

Justice Waqar Ahmed remarked that the person with Form 45 is not an MNA, they are former MNAs, on which the lawyer said that the one with Form 47 is an official MNA, they are former MNAs.

The court granted the two petitioners’ protective bail applications and ordered the police not to arrest them in the listed cases.

Later, the court granted 3 weeks anticipatory bail to the petitioners and directed them to appear before the respective courts.
