In a statement, OSY referred to the complaints of a passenger, in which a bus driver let him off because he boarded with his cat.
OASA previously claimed the driver thought the cat was in a non-compliant backpack.
According to OSY, the driver has been identified and apologized, following all prescribed procedures.

“OSY.AE. regarding the reported incident, via social media and the allegation that a Road Transport driver dropped a passenger while carrying a kitten:
The Company became aware of the incident from the first moment and the driver has already been identified, who has received an apology.
In the event that it is proven that there is a violation of the law “regarding transport with animals”, says in article 4 par. 4b, among other things: “carriage of small pets by road and fixed track means permitted under the responsibility of the passenger and at the discretion of the driver or other authorized personnel of the carrier…as long as placed in a securely closed type of transport cage it with dimensions up to 70 cm x 50 cm. and if the animal’s owner or keeper carries the animal’s individual health book… and places them in the free spaces of the vehicles… then the Company will proceed with the proportional measures at the expense of the driver.
The O.S.Y. SA clarifies that it has carried out the necessary procedures – although it has not yet received any official complaint – because the transport needs of the passenger community, including the transport of pets, are at the heart of our production work.
Finally, we remind you that there is a competent complaints department, where reported incidents are dealt with more easily and immediately.”
What did the young man complain about?
According to what he claimed, the young man boarded the bus, taking his cat with him, in a special transport bag, to take him to the vet.
As soon as he sat down, the driver came to him in a rage, cursed him and told him to get off or he would throw him out, because “I am not a postman to carry this with me”.
After the unpleasant event, the 23-year-old went on board and spoke about his experiences in a video on social media.
According to him, he met the conditions to be able to go on the transport method with his pet.
