Boston To celebrate the day, the board of the German Otto Group Kay Schiebur and the CEO of the robotics pioneer Boston Dynamics let the robot dog “Spot” run a course round: Spot is the size of a small German Shepherd and runs easily over stones, up stairs and down and opens a door to finally bow to the audience.
For visitors from Germany, “Hermes” – the name of the Otto Group’s logistics subsidiary – is written in white letters on the light blue robot body. Finally, Otto and Boston Dynamics have entered into a novel, strategic agreement.
