According to a source who remains anonymous, the two, who have been in a relationship for five years, do not intend to officially announce the good news, but have told their families and close friends about it.
The source also said that the marriage proposal took place several months ago and Swift was careful to wear the ring she received only at her home. The source further claimed that even the team that accompanies the 32-year-old singer has not been updated on her engagement to the 31-year-old actor.
