Islamabad: Pakistan has taken a favorable stance towards China in the high controversy related to the visit of US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan. In a statement, Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Azeem Iftikhar stated that China is firmly supported. Aseem Iftikhar said that Pakistan is deeply concerned about the crisis created in Taiwan.

It is indicated that America is deeply dissatisfied with Pakistan’s position. Although there has been no response from the United States in this regard, it is reported that the United States is seriously examining Pakistan’s statement. With the crisis created in Taiwan, questions are being raised in the international media whether Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan means Pakistan.

Meanwhile, following Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan, China is gearing up for war in the region. Several Chinese fighter jets have taken off targeting Taiwan airspace. Taiwan has deployed an air patrol monitor system and anti-aircraft missiles to counter the incursion of Chinese warplanes. US aircraft carriers, including the USS Ronald Reagan, had also left for the region.
