Dyreparken has found the replacement for Kyrre Haugen Sydness, who has held the role of Sabertooth for 13 years.

– It is a great pleasure to welcome Pål Christian Eggen into the world’s best pirate gang. We are very much looking forward to seeing him on stage in Kjuttaviga in the summer, writes Anniken B. It was in November that it became known that actor Kyrre Haugen Sydness has finished playing the popular captain at the evening performances in the zoo.
– 13 summers with sold-out performances have been an absolutely fantastic adventure. In total, I have been allowed to perform for over 700,000 people, Sydness said in a press release at the time and continued:
– There is a time for everything, and now I have made the choice to end the collaboration with the zoo and Terje Formoe.

Eggen is educated at the Statens teaterhøgskole, and has a long career as an actor. He is known from Trøndelag Theatre, the National Theater and the Norwegian Theatre.
He played Thorgrim Hammern in season two of the NRK series “Mammon”.
