“We are concerned that there will be incidents like the man who stabbed four people at the station Tacubaya, last November, we do not want more panic episodes where there are shootings like it was a year ago at the station Fine arts where a person died from an attempted assault,” he indicated.
In this sense, Gutierrez Urena pointed out the importance of 100% functioning of the surveillance cameras so that the station masters can detect suspicious people or the action of a crime in the network facilities.
For his part, the local deputy of the PAN, Ricardo Rubiodenounced that the Metro referred to a deficit of elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) at surveillance stations.
“We see that at night there are police only at the turnstiles making sure that no one passes without paying, but along the stations where people wait for the trains to pass there is no surveillance, much less a police officer,” he said.

He legislator considered that the means of mass transportation requires a “fresh and not bad” profile in the general direction. “It falls, explodes or they attack inside, the Mexico City Metro is cursed,” he said.
