The Pan-European Women’s Chess Championship, hosted on our island, continues with undiminished intensity.
After the 6th matchday, Fataliyeva Ulviyya from Azerbaijan leads the ranking, with the relevant announcement issued by the Rhodes Knight Chess Club for information stating the following:
“The 24th Pan-European Women’s Chess Championship is in full swing, which is being held at the Rodos Palace Hotel and is co-organized by the Rhodes Knight Chess Club and the South Aegean Region, with the support of the Municipality of Rhodes and a number of sponsors.
On Thursday 25/4/2024, the matches of the 6th round took place. Surprises are very frequent and everyday, battles exciting and ambiguous.
After the results of the 6th competition, Fataliyeva Ulviyya (AZE) leads the ranking with 5.5 points, followed by 8 athletes with 5 points.
The girls of our Club continued their promising performances with the main goal of improving themselves and gaining valuable experiences for their development.
