Parliamentary elections in Georgia ended at 20:00, with a total number of registered voters of 3,508,294 people.

As Day.Az reports, 18 electoral subjects were registered to participate in the elections on October 26, including:

• “Party of Unity and Development of Georgia” (Kamal Muradkhanov) – N3

• “Coalition for Change Gvaramia, Melia, Girchi, Droa” (chairman Nikanor Melia, co-chairman Nika Gvaramia) – N4

• “Unity-National Movement” (chairman Tinatin Bokuchava) – N5

• “European Democrats” (chairman Paata Davitaia) – N6

• “Alliance of Patriots of Georgia” (chairman David Tarkhan-Mouravi) – N8

• “Strong Georgia – Lelo, for the people, for freedom” (chairman Mamuka Khazaradze) – N9

• “Georgian Labor Party” (chairman Shalva Natelashvili) – N10

• “Our United Georgia” (chaired by Isaki Giorgadze) – N12

• “Change Georgia” (chaired by Giorgi Gagnidze) – N16

For the first time in elections in Georgia, more than 90% of polling stations were equipped with electronic voting technologies. In 10% of polling stations where fewer than 300 voters were registered, voting took place according to the traditional pattern. A total of 3,044 polling stations were opened across the country, including 13 exceptional polling stations: 12 in penitentiary institutions and one in a psychiatric center.

The new 150-seat parliament, elected according to a proportional system, will include parties that overcome the 5 percent electoral threshold.
