Pas-de-Calais: a Flixbus hits a low wall on the A1, seven injured including two in absolute emergency

A FlixBus coach operating the Paris-Bruges link was involved in a serious accident after hitting a low wall on the A1 around 10:30 a.m. this Monday morning, in the Paris-Lille direction, report France Bleu and Voix du Nord. Seven passengers were injured, two of whom are currently in “absolute emergency”, according to a provisional report by the Pas-de-Calais firefighters, who dispatched 57 men to the scene.

An investigation was opened by the CRS police officers of the 4-Cantons to determine the causes of the accident. Both drivers were interviewed. Traffic has been reduced to two lanes for the time being.
