Tragic events occurred inside a clinic in Medellín, Colombia after a patient looked for his doctor to shoot him to death and burn his office
According to local media, the patient broke into Dr. Juan Guillermo’s office to kill him and then burn the entire place.
According to the first reports, the perpetrator of the entire tragedy occurred at the hands of a 38-year-old man who entered the clinic in order to make an appointment with a psychiatrist.
Instead of going to the corresponding area, he went to the 9th floor of the building, where he met the urologist with whom he ended his life.
Inside the office, the aggressor shot the doctor several times, so the victim died immediately at the scene; one of the nearby nurses was injured.
After hearing the detonations, the institution’s personnel left the facilities under the corresponding protocols.
After committing the crime, the patient set the office on fire and took refuge inside the bathroom.
When the authorities entered the scene they found the doctor dead and the attacker who committed suicide with the firearm after the murder.
Although the investigations continue, the doctor previously reported several death threats from this patient to the Prosecutor’s Office.
