Patti Smith quickly reassured her fans by leaving the hospital the next day. Yesterday, the rocker posted a photo on the social network Instagram, in which she is surrounded by a medical team. The singer is standing all smiles, like the rest of the people in the photo.
In description, the artist first apologizes. “I’m so sorry that we had to cancel the concerts in Bologna and Venice” she writes. The singer then addresses the caregivers. This message, “It’s also to thank all the medical teams around the world, who take care of people’s needs”.
“I’m resting”
Patti Smith also thanked her fans for supporting her. “I want to thank everyone for sending messages of love and concern. I’m resting, as the doctor ordered.” SThe concerts which were to take place on December 14 and 15 in Venice were therefore also canceled, even if his agent, contacted by Le Figaro, had given reassuring news on Thursday.
The rocker’s next show is scheduled for December 27 in her hometown of Chicago. The singer is expected to end the year with two dates in Brooklyn, December 29 and 30. Patti Smith will return to Europe on March 24, 2024, at the Theatro Circo in Braga (Portugal). His next visit to France is scheduled for July 16 at the Théâtre Gallo Romain in Lyon-Fourvière then on July 19 at the Arènes de Nîmes.
