In today’s stock market opening trade, metals, FMCG, real estate and auto stocks all improved. Metals, FMCG, real estate and auto companies are the most profitable. At Nifty, metals performed well with gains of over 1.4%. Following that, banking, information technology, auto and realty stimulated optimistic trading. On the BSE, 2,062 shares rose, 1,129 shares fell and 142 shares remained unchanged.

The Sensex is up 52 points at 58,628.86. NTPC, Sun Pharmaceuticals, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Finserv and Bharti Airtel are the top gainers in the Sensex. Asian Paints, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Power Grid Corporation of India, Titan and HDFC are among the losers. Similarly, the BSE midcap was up 73 points at 25,111.57 and the smallcap index was up 213 points at 29,655.22.

The Nifty 50 index is up 19 points again at 17,549.95 points today. The Nifty Bank was also up 24 points at 37,771.40. Among the Nifty 50 indices, ONGC, UPL, Coal India, Apollo Hospital and NTPC are the top gainers in the green. On the other hand, Asian Paints, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Power Grid Corporation of India, Titan and HDFC are the red traded stocks.
