People’s favorite Pepsi Max gets a new look

Already last year, Pepsi made changes to its logo in the USA, now they are also introducing the new design on the Pepsi Max cans and bottles around Norwegian stores.

Norwegians drink more Pepsi Max than any other country in the world. Brand manager in Ringnes for Pepsi Max and Pepsi in Norway, Helene Kran Løvestam says in a press release that the process of developing the “new” Pepsi has been thorough.

– The new change involves several new design moves. But this is far more than a design change. We are launching a comprehensive concept, and I would go so far as to say that we are giving the brand a new pulse. All of the packaging and advertising material gets a new design. In addition, an extensive advertising campaign is planned that will make it impossible not to notice that Pepsi has a new identity.

Kran Løvestam adds that the new design is modern and future-oriented, and should give associations to the iconic design used in the 1950s.

In addition to the new logo, they choose to keep the name Pepsi Max in Norway, while in large parts of the world they switch to Pepsi Zero Sugar.
