Shock opening
Manchester City pressed in the beginning and created two decent chances and scored within the first ten minutes.
– This is a shock of an opening for FCK, the level City has shown in the first minutes, said TV 2’s Brede Hangeland live.
Shortly afterwards, Kevin De Bruyne scored the game’s first goal with a well-placed shot from an angle into the box.
Haaland was close to an artificial score when he threw himself into the air in an acrobatic manner after a spectacular attack, but the finish went over the target.
– Pep Guardiola laughed at that shot to Erling Haaland. Even he knew it was special, thought the BBC’s Stephen Warnock.
– That is a bit dangerous. If you land a little wrong, something might break, said TV 2’s Morten Langli in the break studio, after the replay of Haaland two meters up in the air had been shown a few times.

Manchester City controlled everything for a long time, but out of nowhere the home team suddenly scored after just over half an hour played. Debutant Magnus Mattsson knocked the ball into the far corner behind Ederson, after the goalkeeper had first centered the ball straight into an opponent.
– It’s unbelievable, but it’s 1-1, said TV 2’s Øyvind Alsaker.
– I look up at the board, it says 1-1. I believe in it, said mate Brede Hangeland.

Haaland has a total of 40 goals in the tournament, and is therefore number 20 on the list of top-scoring players in the Champions League.
The Norwegian could touch or go past players such as Sergio Agüero (41) and Alessandro Del Piero (42) tonight. The star duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappé both have 43 goals.
PS Jack Grealish got a long-awaited start for the light blues, but had to go off with an injury after 20 minutes.
