The interrogation was published today by the Anti-Corruption Fund, the information was also sent to the media.
For three days now, the organization has released materials from pre-trial proceedings initiated by the Sofia District Prosecutor’s Office (SRP), but seized in June of this year. by the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office (SGP), as it was under its jurisdiction.

She explains that she has known Petrov since 1997. However, this is not a surprise, because before taking over the SGP, Kirilova was an investigator, and she herself never denied their acquaintance, especially since he was her boss. Kirilova herself confirms that she went to the “Eight Dwarfs”. She also met Mitko Karatista there on the day she went to tell Petrov when the urn with the ashes of her late sister, also an investigator, would be placed. She was impressed that Dimitar Spasov was curious about who she was.
The prosecutor’s office declined to comment. Until now, however, it is definitely known about one meeting of Sarafov with Pepi Euroto, which was also documented in a photograph. The current chief prosecutor himself claims that he ended up there because the former prosecutor #1 Ivan Geshev scheduled a meeting for him at the “Eight Dwarfs”.
However, the testimony of the anonymous witness is not a particular surprise, because in February the prosecutor’s office published the decree to terminate the case, which is from October this year. In it, the interrogations of a large part of the witnesses were retold. It was also described that the investigation itself begins with self-reporting on the photo, which shows Sarafov and Petrov shaking hands. Four prosecutors from the Sofia District Prosecutor’s Office worked on the case. As the interrogation of the anonymous witness was conducted by Georgi Ivanov. Sulev, on the other hand, had issued a search warrant for Kristiyan Hristov and thus prevented him from giving a briefing at which he could talk about Ivan Geshev, the prosecution claims.
