A petition has been filed in the Madras High Court to file a case against DMK Deputy General Secretary A. Raza for defaming Hindus.

Former Union Minister, DMK Deputy General Secretary and MP A. Raza’s comments on Hinduism caused controversy when he spoke at the appreciation function held for Dravidar Kazhagam President K. Veeramani at Chennai’s Periyar Thidal on September 6.

Joseph, the founder of the JJ Party, has filed a petition in the Madras High Court to take action against A. Raza regarding this issue. He mentioned that A. Raza’s speech has caused enmity between two religions and disturbed the religious harmony, and because of Raza’s speech, there has been a law and order problem in Tamil Nadu.

He also said that a complaint has been lodged at the Vepperi police station to take action against Rasa, who caused unnecessary problems by talking about the unusual petition. However, he alleged that the police did not accept the complaint against Raza as he was in charge of the ruling party. Therefore, he requested in the petition to order the police to file a case against A. Raza.
