Giorgio Parisi – Interview by Iacopo Gori / CorriereTv

«Poetry is a creative use of language, physics is a creative use of mathematics. Poetry like physics and all sciences are based on an act of creativity »says Giorgio Parisi, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics 2021.

In this video, Professor Parisi – from the historic rooms of the Accademia dei Lincei in Rome -, tells in a simple way how “in the finished product, in the sciences as in poetry, there is no trace of the fatigue of the creative process and of doubts and hesitations that accompany him ».
These words are also part of the first chapter of Professor Parisi’s last book which is entitled “In a flight of starlings” (Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera).
