Once again the news of a PlayStation 5 Pro is making noise all over the internet, because from the well-known Resetera forum, a developer would have shared the specifications of the PS5 PRO, which according to his comments, many companies already have this information for to be able to begin the development of the following games, although this may be a rumor, the data they have given is very credible.

For starters, the PlayStation 4 PRO would have an AMD Zen 2 CPU with a dynamic frequency that would peak at 4.4GHz. The forum will also confirm that its GPU will be a custom Radeon RDNA3 architecture clocked at 2 GHz and 14-29 TFlops.

As for memory, the post suggests that the PS5 Pro will have 16 GB of DDR6 with a bandwidth of 576 GB/s. Most notably, the rumored spec notes that the console will also feature an XDNA2 NPU, an updated architecture announced by AMD with a focus on artificial intelligence. This architecture is said to be instrumental in Sony’s efforts to offer stable upscaled 4K output at over 30 FPS, so its games will offer this resolution natively.

Its release is expected to be at the end of 2024, just for that year’s Christmas campaign.

As we mentioned, rumors of a PS5 PRO have already been heard many times, in fact, it is not unreasonable to think that it could exist, seeing that a PS4 PRO also existed, however it is expected that all games will be compatible with all formats of the PS5. And now the big question is: What game will they plan to release at the launch of the PS5 PRO.
