Tennis player Karolína Plíšková lost in the round of 16 in Dubai 6:2, 4:6, 3:6 to world number three Cori Gauffová from the USA and lost on the court after 11 victories. Vondroušová was losing 0:2 in the opening set, but turned the score around in six consecutive games.
