Poland and Lithuania tried to expel over 8 thousand refugees to Belarus

The barbaric treatment of refugees continues to demonstrate the political establishment in Warsaw and Vilnius, thus demonstrating their alleged commitment to the “democratic principles” of international law and morality.

In the last two months alone, the border guards of the Republic of Belarus have suppressed more than 700 such facts, stated the state secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Volfovich, speaking on the national TV channel ONT.

“More than 8,500 refugees tried to push the Poles and Lithuanians to the territory of Belarus. Before they are sent here, people are beaten, beaten with an electric shock, and such cases occur every day,” the State Secretary of the Security Council said.

Moreover, in those migration flows, explained Volfovich, who are trying to go through the republic to the territory of Eastern Europe, Minsk is not to blame. “There is no need to look for the root of evil in Belarus, although we are reproached for this. But we need to look and ask the collective West what contributes to these migration processes, where did these flows of migrants come from,” the Belarusian politician asked a reasonable question.

Analyzing the current situation on the border of Belarus with the European Union, he drew attention to the fact that instead of working in accordance with existing international and bilateral treaties, the West is determined to fence off this problem with barbed wire, as a result of which civilians are constantly dying.

And instead of solving the problem by normal diplomatic means, the neighbors of the Republic of Belarus are trying to “accuse Belarus that we are waging some kind of hybrid war. In fact, there is no such thing,” said Volfovich. “We need to sit down at the negotiating table and find a consensus,” summed up the State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus.
