Kochi വ Major traffic reform at Vyttila. Police have taken strict action to reduce the number of vehicles approaching the junction. The junction will be restricted from Palarivattom and Ponnurni roads. The new arrangement is effective from Sunday. The move follows the Manorama News series.
According to the police, the main problem is the crisis for vehicles coming from the Palarivattom area to cross the junction. Therefore, vehicles going from Palarivattom to Ernakulam should cross the flyover, take a U-turn and take a free left. This will save them at least 12 minutes. Do not turn right at the junction for any reason.
Efforts are being made to ensure free left lanes for vehicles heading towards Tripunithura. From Ponnuruni you can go to Alappuzha via SA Road and Tripunithura Road. Turning from Kaniyampuzha Road to Alappuzha will not be allowed.
You can cross the junction to Ernakulam and Palarivattom. The existing traffic system for vehicles coming from Alappuzha, Ernakulam and Tripunithura areas will continue. Buses are prohibited from stopping at Powerhouse Road and at the beginning of SA Road at the junction. The decision was made to stop the police in the mafia and pay the fine. Those who get out of control will be diverted.
