KAI signed⁤ a contract with Poland to export a⁣ total of 48 FA-50s in July 2022. afterwards, introductory training for the Polish Air Force’s FA-50GF (gap filler) and FA-50PL (Polish version) pilot training ‌was conducted domestically, and this was the first time that a⁢ pilot who ⁢will fly the FA-50PL shared his impressions through an interview.

Lieutenant Colonel kuwa said,⁣ “The ⁢delivery phase of the FA-50PL has not yet been completed, so the ‍clarification is limited. “The FA-50 I experienced through training had excellent performance and was pilot-friendly,” he said. “From the pilot’s viewpoint, I also discovered surprising things that exceeded expectations.”

He continued,“It has performed many ‍combat hours‌ without serious malfunctions, and its flight performance⁣ is suitable for an aircraft of its class, but many pilots were notably‍ surprised by the agility of the ⁢FA-50.” He added,⁣ “The ‍aircraft is easy to operate, so young pilots can use the F-16 or “It is an excellent aircraft for‌ cultivating skills ⁤and habits suitable for ⁣operating other aircraft, such as the -35.”

He added, “Based on the FA-50 training program, we hope to accelerate F-16 and F-35 training in the future.”

Lieutenant ⁤Colonel ⁣Kuwa added, “The⁣ FA-50GF is also crucial to⁣ the⁢ Polish Air Force for several⁤ reasons,” adding, “The biggest reason is‌ that pilots ⁤can begin the transition phase to prepare for the FA-50PL.”

Lieutenant Colonel Kuwa‌ said, “I heard about K-defense and K-pop, but I didn’t ⁤know much about Korea, so I bought a few books to⁣ understand Korean culture and customs.” He added, ⁤“I received a much warmer welcome than I expected during the training ‍course, and my team trained well. “I didn’t know he would approach you ⁣so warmly ⁢and⁣ with such an open heart,” he said, adding that⁣ he was deeply impressed.

After‌ experiencing a compressed introductory ‌training program ⁢for about a⁣ week, they ⁢expressed satisfaction with the curriculum, saying that‌ they could use

However, Lieutenant Colonel kuwa showed a cautious response to the K-defense industry introduced by Poland.

He⁣ said, “Korean weapons have only been introduced ⁢to Poland not long⁢ ago, so it is‍ too early to make ⁢a ‌deep evaluation.” He added, “Korean⁢ weapons are gradually being introduced to ⁣Poland, and we need to see how they will be operated in the Polish defense system in the future.”
