Since 1925-26 Periyar’s self-respect movement, there has been opposition to Manusruthi. What Rasa said was nothing new. From Periyar to Ambedkar, Narayanaguru, Aya Vaikunder and Vallalar all have opposed this dominant philosophy. It emphasizes a society based on Brahmanism.
But BJP is doing politics based on what Raza said. Those who belong to the Dravidian movement criticize only Hindus. They say they don’t criticize others. All those who can be influenced by Manusruthi will oppose its philosophy. According to the A. Raza Constitution as a Member of Parliament, all those who take oath must oppose Manusruthi.
When I say Hindu, the question of who I am naturally arises. He who puts cotton wool is superior to me, Panchaman who does manual labor is inferior, farmers who do manual labor are Shudras. Who will accept if the traders are Vaishyas and Satyars?
Brahmins should not come to power. They came to power without doing the work of reciting scriptures. But when others come and say Manusruthi, who will accept it? As it is, if they are dependent on the principle of humanity, then if he talks about Manusruti, let him talk and leave. Why couldn’t they pass? They want to create such a social structure.
