State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu claimed that the prices of products will be under control in the upcoming Ramadan, and the prices of any new products will not increase in Ramadan. The price of oil in the market has been reduced by Rs 10, which will be effective today. There is no supply crisis for any other product.

The Minister of State for Commerce said these things in a press briefing after the session of the DCs with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Monday (March 4). Industry Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun was present at this time.

The Minister of State for Commerce said that the price of oil which has been reduced, will be effective within today. In the meantime, whether the price of oil has been reduced at the factory level, I have visited through the Directorate of Consumer Affairs. I have instructed the DCs to take action if they are sold at higher prices.

He said, we have told the DCs that there should not be any problem in the supply chain of the products of the production area. The transport system should be orderly. I gave them advice and guidance on these matters.

Ahsanul Islam Titu also said that the rice market has come under control and is stable. The price of each product will be controlled gradually.
