Twelve of the raids for the investigation of the ProCultura Foundation were carried out in the Metropolitan Region and the other two in the Biobío Region.
The Coquimbo Regional Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that during the course of this Thursday A total of 14 homes were raided in different regions of the countrywithin the framework of the investigation of the ProCultura Foundation, within the framework of the Agreements Case.
According to what is specified by the pursuing entity, 12 of the raids were carried out in the Metropolitan Region and the other two in the Biobío Region.
“In addition, the Prosecutor’s Office took statements from public officials and from the foundation investigated in the Covenants case.“said the Coquimbo Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The home of the co-founder of the ProCultura Foundation was raided
The operation was carried out by detectives from the Anti-Corruption Brigade of the Investigative Police (PDI), and in the Metropolitan Region included the search of homes in the communes of Colina, Vitacura, La Reina, Puente Alto, Lo Barnechea, Pudahuel, Ñuñoa, Santiago and Las Condes.
Among the homes that the civil police officers entered were those of the co-founder of the ProCultura Foundation, Alberto Larraín, and María Constanza Gómez, legal representative of the entity.
It is worth remembering that the ProCultura foundation is being investigated for alleged tax fraud, money laundering and influence peddling.
