Chennai: Producer Singaravelan has filed a complaint against actor Vimal for defaming him.
There is already a problem between actor Vimal and producer Singharavelan regarding the production of the film. The case related to this is going on in the court. In this case, in an interview given by actor Vimal, ‘My life has been lived by someone else. It was only too late that I had given permission for this.
For three years, they have made it impossible for me to live my life.’ The case is pending in court. The court has said that ‘Vimal’s case should be investigated honestly’. I have met the Chief Minister and submitted a petition. My letter has been forwarded to the appropriate department. I will prove my innocence.
Vimal should have a conscience more than me. There is no need for me to spoil Vimal’s life. After Mannar Puruyara, all three films starring Vimal were huge failures. Big loss to producers and distributors; Vimal should do a self-examination, he said.
