This afternoon, 30 professionals accessed soft loans granted by the Ministry of Finance to boost their ventures. Through this benefit, workers will be able to invest in their work projects and become independent.

The soft credit line of up to 500,000 pesos was managed through the Finance Secretariat of the Ministry of Public Finance and was coordinated with the Bar Association and the Council of Economic Sciences. Both entities will receive financing for 200 projects respectively. “We are very happy because we were able to make effective this line of credits designed for professionals with less than 5 years of registration and to help them undertake the profession they have chosen.“said Cecilia Badaloni, Finance Secretary after receiving the professionals.

The beneficiaries accessed through this specific line of credit for the sector at a preferential interest rate of 0%, to be paid in up to 48 installments. A proposal that exceeds the possibilities of private financing.

These are projects that prioritize social inclusion, the gender perspective, care for the environment and the job placement of more professionals in the area. The selection of projects was made by the Bar Association, in this first stage. Next week we will continue signing with the Council of Economic Sciences”, explained Badaloni.

For his part, professionals highlight the importance of this aid to invest in equipment. “This credit will go mainly for a notebook. What I’m looking for is digitization. Today all the writings enter the system, the hearings are practically virtual, so you need to have computer equipment, ”said the lawyer Jesús Velazquez after signing his credit.

The entrepreneur assured that this benefit for the sector is important since it costs to invest during the first years of the exercise since the works are often not charged on the spot. “This government policy is excellent to be able to invest it in something necessary that we already have left for the entire exercise of the profession,” said Velázquez.

Lastly, the Finance Secretary added the importance of accompanying young professionals in their first steps. “Professionals who have just graduated are also entrepreneurs and have expenses to start their profession. It was important to listen to them and here we are in the first installment”, expressed Badaloni.
