Dubai | Expatriate businessman and film producer Atlas Ramachandran (80) passed away. He was undergoing treatment at Aster Mankhul Hospital in Dubai due to old age related ailments. He died on Sunday night.
Atlas Jewelery once became the favorite institution of Malayalees due to Ramachandran’s tireless efforts. She became popular as a model in Atlas ads. His slogan ‘Atlas: Trusted by millions’ made him famous.
He has a large circle of friends in the Gulf countries and had to serve jail time due to business failure. Muthi was getting active in public forums in Dubai after winning the cases. He lived in Dubai with his wife Indira.
