“All the impact achieved thanks to these projects is a source of pride that makes us push ourselves even more to be part of the country system in Italy”. This was said by Frederico da Silva, General Manager and Vice President of Gilead Sciences Italia, on the sidelines of the award ceremony for the winning projects of the thirteenth edition of the Gilead Sciences Calls, dedicated to Italian public and private research and treatment institutions and to associations of patients working in the area of infectious diseases, oncological and hematological pathologies. At the center of the 2024 edition, entitled ‘Stories that make history’, are the stories of those who, in these 13 years of Calls for Gilead Sciences, have been able to continue their research projects.
