(24News) Senator Irfan Siddiqui has said that the demands made by PTI in the negotiations between the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf will be considered if they come in written form.
Talking to the media in Islamabad, Irfan Siddiqui shared the details of the talks with the PTI members. However, the meeting of the negotiating committee was held in a cordial atmosphere and the PTI members have sought more time to meet the founder.
Irfan Siddiqui said that a meeting with PTI’s friends will be arranged and if the demands come in written form, they will be considered. He said that it is important to look at the constitution, law and traditions and P TI’s demands will be placed in front of its leadership, for which lawyers will also be consulted, opinions and responses will be given for a week after the written form of demands.
Senator Irfan Siddiqui said that PTI did not talk about the February 8 election, but there was a demand to form a judicial commission on the incidents of May 9 and May 26. A release was also demanded, he said, adding that the continuation of the talks was a major development and hoped that the PTI’s demands would be put in writing in the next meeting.
Irfan Siddiqui said that the third round of negotiations will be extended for 6 to 7 days on PTI’s demands and the next step of the negotiation committee is in PTI’s court. No demand was made to withdraw the motion of disobedience.
