Putin will meet with journalists and businessmen at SPIEF

Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to meet with representatives of international news agencies and leading world businessmen within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the Russia 1 TV channel reported.

“A big conversation between Putin and leading journalists of world news agencies is also expected. The President will also talk with the world’s leading businessmen and investors, ”the statement reads.

In addition, the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz will take part in the SPIEF.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place on June 2-5. It will be held in person in compliance with all epidemiological safety measures. Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov reported that Putin plans to take part in the plenary session of the forum in person.
