The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources provided details about the weather situation in the country in the coming hours in the national territory.
According to the institution, during the morning the sky will be clear to slightly cloudy. Regarding the afternoon, cloudiness will increase and rains and storms are expected in the western area, specifically, in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range and the northern fringe.
At night, the Ministry of the Environment reiterated that the rains and storms are expected to extend along the northern strip, reaching other departments of the country.
Likewise, the environmental institution explained that these conditions will be influenced by the flow from the east and northeast, by low pressure east of Costa Rica, which induces humidity towards El Salvador. In addition, to report that the approach of a tropical wave to Central America is observed that could influence more rains starting Wednesday.
