Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Khelat presented the budget for this year in Rajasthan. At the beginning he read the old budget speech. After this, BJP and MLAs joined in the assembly.
Assembly elections are going to be held in Rajasthan soon. After this, the current government’s last budget was presented and addressed by Chief Minister Ashok Khelat. After speaking for about 8 minutes and making two announcements, it caused shock among the opposition parties.
These are the announcements made in the budget tabled last year. Ashok Khelat now read the budget presented last year. Taking it to the nearby minister, Ashok Khelat, he stopped the budget speech.
After this, the opposition parties joined forces. The Speaker advised the MLAs to keep calm. However, the MLAs who did not accept this, sat in the center of the House and staged a protest. As a result, the assembly was adjourned for 30 minutes. Then when they met, the budget was presented.
Regarding this mistake, Ashok Khelat said, If there is any difference between the information in the budget documents in my hands and the information in the budget documents in your hands, you can bring it to me. But if a page was accidentally added to the document I have, I can tell how the budget was leaked. He said, “I apologize for the incident in the assembly.”
