Rally against mega-basins: in Sainte-Soline, a second act of extreme violence

Stones against tear gas, firework mortars against defense bullet launchers (LBD), molotov cocktails against disencirclement grenades… Clashes of extreme violence opposed this Saturday, March 25, anti-basin activists to the forces of the order in Sainte-Soline, in Deux-Sèvres. As on October 29, the demonstrators – estimated at nearly 30,000, according to the organizers, 6,000, according to the authorities – were determined to invade the construction site of a retention basin.
