In this interview, Simi said about Ratan Tata, ‘Ratan and I go back a long way. He is perfect, he is the perfect gentleman. Money was never his driving force. He is not as comfortable in India as he is abroad.’ Simi’s love affair with Ratan Tata did not last long. They were very good friends even after the breakup.

Simi tied the knot with Ravi Mohan in 1970. This family broke up in 1979. This actress did not marry after that. But Ratan Tata remained unmarried throughout his life. Although this billionaire admits that he has had more than one love in his life.

Ratan Tata appeared as a guest in an event in 1997. Simi hosted the event. There Ratan Tata said that sometimes he feels the emptiness of his wife and family.

Recalling his loneliness, Ratan Tata said, ‘Many times I feel lonely because I don’t have a wife or family. Sometimes there is a desire to have it. Sometimes I enjoy the freedom of not worrying about other people’s feelings or concerns. Other times I feel lonely.’

Ratan Tata wanted to get married. Informing that, he said, ‘I came very close to marriage a few times, the last time it didn’t happen.’
