Those who use it on the computer through the web or desktop version know it well. Since a few months, the ability to work on multiple devices has also been improved.
Across phones: how things have changed
This means, for those who use WhatsApp on iPhone or Android, that the same account can be used simultaneously on four devices plus the original smartphone. As specified by the WhatsApp website, the connection of each device, in addition to being protected by end-to-end encryption, will make each device connect independently.
The phone is the essential unit to connect the other devices only at the beginning, then each one works even if the smartphone is disconnected. However, if one of them is inactive for 14 days, it is automatically disconnected.
But are you always sure what other devices are connected to your WhatsApp? This is strictly a privacy issue, and any criticism is due to the user’s inexperience, and not to the application that offers so many possibilities to protect itself.
Starting with the ability to see what other devices, apart from the phone, are connected to the account. That is, you can check if by chance one has forgotten to open access to WhatsApp from a shared computer (at work or in the family) or if there is some other situation that gives others the opportunity to see the exchanges of messages one’s.
The verification procedure is very simple. These are the steps:

This opens a screen where, in addition to being able to make other connections (up to 4), you can see which devices have access to your WhatsApp account. If one of them is no longer available to you, or if you don’t know about it, you can remove it simply by holding down on it and then choosing Disconnect.
