The item was sold in 12 German federal states. Only customers from Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saarland and Schleswig-Holstein are not affected by the recall.
It is safe to consume for people who do not suffer from a milk protein allergy. The affected chip packs can be exchanged at a Lidl branch without presenting the receipt.
