With the delivery of 40 recognitions for comprehensive community doctors of recognized work in the entity

En the framework of celebrating this April 16 the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Barrio Adentro Mission as one of the great initiatives of Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, the regional government, through the Secretary of Social Development, commemorated this day with an act where they awarded recognition to 40 doctors for their work, dedication and commitment to the service of the people.

The event was headed by Danielys León, Secretary of Social Development, and Yenibel Lugo, Director of Missions and Great Missions, representing Governor Ernesto Luna; Moisés Morón, president of the Monagas State Socialist Legislative Council; Yérika Alzolay, Single Health Authority, and Joselis López, state coordinator of the Mission.

During the act, León highlighted the importance that this mission has had in caring for the health of all Venezuelans.

“The Barrio Adentro Mission is one of the most valuable legacies that our Eternal Commander, Hugo Chávez Frías, left us as a show of love for his people, a mission full of humanism and revolutionary solidarity, a great example for the peoples of America and the world. world,” he said.

In turn, the Single Health Authority indicated that this mission has been consolidating its foundations and has strengthened the Public Health System thanks to the social policies left by President Chávez and has been of great help to the Venezuelan people.

In this sense, the Barrio Adentro state coordinator congratulated all the men and women who work every day to provide a comprehensive health service and who have transformed the vision of humanized care.

“Today I want to thank this Army of White Coats who, with their dedicated work, professionalism, and dedication, have made it possible for us to have one of the most important social missions in the world. Cuban brothers, thank you for all your commitment and love for our people.”
