On November 28, the academic Council of the Universidad del Atlantico announced the academic calendar for the 2025-1 period of the Medicine program.
Through academic resolution number 000040, a total of 50 places were approved for this program. Similarly, with academic resolution number 000039 of November 28, 2024, the registration process for applicants was approved from December 4 to December 9 of this year. In the same calendar,the publication of the list of those admitted to a specific test for 23 December 2024 was approved.

Aleyda Parra, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences indicated, “it is indeed a dream come true in 2024, more than 50 years ago this project was planned to be born and today it is a reality. There are many expectations, of course, and above all there is a lot of responsibility, not only on the institution, but it is also a responsibility that we have on all those boys and girls who wanted to become doctors at at some point he wouldn’t be able to study it because of the high costs.”
