Renfe will allocate more than 2.8 million euros at various stations of the Rodalies network in Catalonia, where, among others, the roofs of the passenger buildings will be conditioned, the car parks will be adapted, the lighting of the platforms or the electrical panels will be improved. These are investments in auxiliary works that will be developed between 2024 and 2026. One of the stations that will benefit is that of Blanes where the car park will be adapted, with an investment of 350,000 euros.
The 2.8 million will be distributed in three annuities, specifically 550,000 euros this year, 1.3 million in 2025 and 966,000 euros in 2026. Work is expected to begin in the spring. The stations with planned activities are Montcada Bifurcació, Vic, Mataró, Mollet Sant Fost, Blanes, Arenys de Mar and Terrassa Centre.
In Montcada Bifurcació and Vic, 350,000 euros will be allocated to each station to adapt the roof of the passenger building, while in Mataró the same action will be carried out for 250,000 euros. and in Arenys de Mar and Terrassa Center the lighting will be improved (250,000 euros in each of the two stations).
In the other hand, half a million more euros will be invested in the improvement of the electrical panels in various seasons.
