Rescuers reached the climbers stuck on the Giant’s Tooth

Two teams of the Aosta Valley Alpine Rescue are activated

Two teams of the Aosta Valley Alpine Rescue have been working on the Dente del Gigante for a few hours to recover two mountaineers stuck along the double ropes during the descent.

The mountaineers were joined by a team who came down from the top of the Dente with the task of accompanying them to the base, where the second team is waiting for them.

“Their conditions do not seem to cause concern,” informs the Central Unica del Soccorso.

Once again the operation is complicated by the weather conditions in the mountains. At high altitude there are clouds and gusts of wind that make rescue difficult.
